I'll be home for Christmas

So I realize how terribly late this post is but I am still desperatly trying to keep this blog alive and more importany clear out some of my photo stream on my iphone which is in a constant state of "memory storage full."

Before I get into Christmas I wanted to touch on Thanksgiving. We had just gotten back from Thailand the day before Thanksgiving so we were clearly staying in London. We had a friendsgiving with two other couples and we all brought some of our favorites. We were complete with a turkey and all the standard American favorite sides, we had a great night. But of course, It really makes you homesick to be so far away from your family and traditions on such an important holiday.  Luckily, I left for the states less than two weeks later for Christmas. But not before we got to do some fun Christmas stuff in London like Christmas shopping at Camden Market, mulled wine and seeing White Christmas at the West End. London really is beautiful at Christmas time!

I also want to talk about the AMAZING Clemson vs USC game. While I was bummed we weren't there to witness the tiger domination in person, we had a London Clemson Club event and watched it at Matts office. We had a huge projector screen and a great view of the Thames. We had about 10 people again and after the amazing win it turned out to be such an fun night!

Shortly after we were both home for the Holidays for a pretty long visit. It was so nice to be back and really put me in the Christmas spirit! We had a great visit and got to see all of our families so we spent time in Greenville, Spartanburg and Louisville and got to see all of our loved ones and friends. It doesnt get much better than that!

We got to meet my best friends Katie's sweet baby girl Hagan for the first time in Charlotte.

On New Years Day we headed to Charleston to spend a week there. While we were there we got to celebrate my sister-in-law, Maggie's 30th birthday. With dinner at the Abstinent Daughter, drinks at Cocktail Club and dancing at Republic.

After a week of seeing our friends and hitting up all of our favorite Charleston spots, we left with a bang of Matt kidnapping his brother Neil at work for his surprise bachelor party in Vegas!

At the same time I left for 3 days in New Orleans for Maggies bachelorette party. The bachelorette party was 18 girls deep so we rented out our own bnb! We had a blast on Bourbon Street, exploring the city, having beignets and great food.

We had such a great visit home. It wasnt even sad when we left as we knew we would be back in early March for Maggie and Neils wedding (post to come).
